Role Summary:

MBRP Ltd. is a fast-growing manufacturer & distributor of performance exhaust systems for the automotive and powersports industries. Located in the heart of Muskoka, MBRP has always been an employer of choice. 

Job Specific Duties:

• Use Computer aided modeling and drafting to create engineering drawings 
• Create or Updated BOMs (Bill of Materials)
• Use Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process for continuous improvements 
• Use 3D scan equipment to create Cad models for drawings updates or new components
• Assist/Create test procedures including Dynamometers & Flow-Bench
• Use engineering drawings and BOMs provide information required to build Prototypes
• Inspect parts and prototypes to make sure the meet criteria requested
• Install prototypes analyze the fit and make any necessary improvements to the design
• Understand production methods to make products that are cost effective and easier to manufacture.
• Keep projects on schedule
• Communicate with other departments on new designs & engineering changes

Responsibilities:

• Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations
• Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that MBRP requires to be used or worn
• Report to your Supervisor the absence or defect in any equipment or protective device of which you are aware and which may endanger yourself or another worker
• Report to your Supervisor any contravention of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations or the existence of any hazard you observe
• Comply with MBRP Policies and Procedures that apply

Experience:

• College diploma or degree in Engineering
• Experience with SolidWorks and ERP/MRP systems
• Experience with ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard)/PIES data (Product Information Exchange Standard) an asset
