MBRP continues its growth in manufacturing performance exhaust systems. With a change in our production hours, you can enjoy a new shift structure that gives you more days off, and more time with your friends and family. MBRP manufactures 7 days/week, 24 hours/day to supply enthusiasts with the exceptional quality product they want from MBRP.

The role of Production Team Leader is crucial to the operations and future growth of MBRP. We are looking for an energetic, organized, process-oriented and agile leader who can inspire and hold accountable his or her team to deliver the core requirements of each role as efficiently and effectively as possible. The Production Team Leader will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading and developing a team of 40 employees
  • Equipment and processes.

This role is centered around 2 core areas:

People Management:

  • Administrative: policies, attendance, corrective actions, employees, discipline, and vacation planning
  • Employee development, cross-training, and team morale
  • Team Safety performance (Part of JHSC)
  • Coordinate work with Area Leaders and other departments
  • Schedules and Approves Overtime
  • Help cover Area Leader absence
  • Coordinate activities with other departments
  • Continuous Improvement Activities – Pit Stop, 5S, etc

Process Responsibility:

  • Release and Manage Job Orders Process
  • Report and track daily production results
  • End of Shift transfer and coordination
  • Hourly production updates and scheduling
  • Lean (CI) activities and process improvement projects: safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, ergonomics, etc.
  • Coordinate maintenance repairs, and PM
  • Confirm routine quality and Area Leader checks/audited
  • Following up on Inventory Variances with Materials Dept (out of stock)

Skill Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of all manufacturing processes, equipment, parts, and components in his/her area of responsibility
  • Knowledge of company’s policies, rules and regulations applying to his/her area of responsibility
  • Knowledge of all health and safety, quality and labour standards applying to his/her area of responsibility
  • Leadership skills, facilitation skills, problem solving skills, management skills and planning skills
  • Understanding of principles of TPS / continuous improvement
